Meet Our Staff

Dr. Lynn Kolterman Veterinarian

Dr. Lynn Kolterman is a native of Seward, Nebraska. She is a 2003 Graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a 2007 Graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon her graduation, she practiced at the Animal Clinic in Hastings, Nebraska for three years and then practiced at the Belmont Veterinary Center in Lincoln, Nebraska for an additional three years. It was at that time that Dr. Kolterman and a fellow KSU-CVM classmate Dr. Kristen Schlenker purchased the Clock Tower Animal Clinic from Dr. Jerry Burkey in 2013. Dr. Kolterman and her husband, Nate, have three children Carly, Michael and Maren. They live on an acreage out by Garland, NE where Nate owns and operates Kolt Cattle. The Kolterman’s also have three cats and a small flock of chickens.

Dr. Kristen Schlenker Veterinarian

Dr. Kristen Schlenker is originally from Lexington, NE. After attending the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, she moved to Manhattan, Kansas to attend school at Kansas State University, graduating with a DVM in 2007. Fresh out of school, she accepted a position with the incredible Best Care Pet Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. In 2009, a position close to home in Lincoln opened up at Belmont Veterinary Clinic where she was able to work with amazing clients and staff for 4 years. In 2013, when an opportunity to buy Clock Tower Animal Clinic from its original founder presented itself, Dr. Schlenker and Dr. Kolterman decided to give it a try, and she is thrilled that they did. She loves the work at the clinic, the wonderful people and amazing pets that walk through the door each day. When not working she currently spends most of her time alongside her husband Tyson jockeying their 4 children to various functions and activities. Someday she hopes to get back to running, biking, reading and listening to music. Or silence, she would enjoy listening to silence someday as well.
